Be an AFP Volunteer
Are you keen to join us as AFP volunteer and help grow the sport of Pickleball in Asia?
We accept volunteers [talents] beyond Asia and the team members will leverage on Zoom / MS Teams to communicate and to complete the tasks.

Depending on the urgency of the requirements, each member is unlikely to spend 5 workdays (40 hours) per month on the agreed tasks. Some members are working adults so most of us complete our assigned work during weekdays 9-11pm or during weekends at our own pace.

If you are a volunteer with our tournament teams, be it as a Committee member, Chief referee, Technical Official or Line judge, there will be a need for traveling (spending more time) when we have AFP sanction games.

Do note that at this present moment, the volunteer works are without compensation and will consume your personal and family time. AFP appreciates your commitment and your contributions to promoting the sport of Pickleball in Asia. Academy Executive
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced academy Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting to developing Pickleball training curriculum and coordinating training program across Asia. The Academy Executive will work closely with Academy directors to identify training needs, design training programs, and deliver training sessions that enhance pickleball players’ knowledge, skills, and performance.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement training programs across Asia.

Working with Academy directors and other stakeholders to identify training needs and design training programs that align with AFP goals and objectives.

Conduct training needs assessments and evaluate training effectiveness through surveys, feedback, and performance metrics.

Design and deliver AFP training sessions, workshops, and e-learning modules using a variety of training methods and tools.

Working closely with international training institutions for their training program. Negotiate training commission and work with AFP legal on Academy contract management.

Create and maintain training records, reports, and metrics to track training effectiveness and compliance.

Develop and maintain relationships with external training providers, industry associations, and professional organizations to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.

Support the implementation of new initiatives and training programs.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Education, Business Administration, or related field.

Experience in development, designing, and delivering training programs preferred.

Strong understanding of learning principles and instructional design methodologies.

Familiarity with a range of training delivery methods, including classroom instruction, e-learning, and on-the-court training.

Ability to manage training projects from inception to completion, including needs assessment, design, delivery, and evaluation.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop insights to inform training strategies and programs.

Experience with learning management systems and e-learning authoring tools.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in Asia cultural environment.

Passion for training and development and a desire to continuously improve and innovate in the field of employee training.
