Intermediate / Advanced:- USD 40 per player
Open:- USD 50 per player
Team Event
Team Challenge:- USD 200 per team
Refund Policy:
The player is responsible for covering the bank handling and service fees incurred during any refund. No refund once registration closes on 8 Apr 2024.
Prize Money
Note:
1) You will receive the prize money credited into your Paypal / Bank account between 30-45 days.
2) The prize money you receive will be reduced after deducting service fees from Paypal or the bank.
Important Note for APG 2023 Champions
Seeded Players : For all the champions in the individual event of APG 2023 listed at www.afpickleball.org/leaderboard , they will skip* the round-robin stage and enter directly into Round 2 of the single-elimination phase in the AOPC OPEN divisions.
Terms and Conditions*:
1. This applies to Open divisions with a minimum of two groups competing in the round-robin stage.
2. For doubles, you must pair with the same partner.
Individual Events
Rules:
1) You can play up your skill level but not down.
2) Players can play down in age, so if you are 50+ but your partner is 35+ you can still play together.
3) Each player can register TWO events per day. ONE event in Session 1 (either INT or ADV) and Session 2 (OPEN).
4) If there are an insufficient number of entries within a single age/skill category (min 5), then categories will be combined at the Tournament Director's discretion.
Game format:
1) Round Robin follow by Single Elimination.
2) Conventional Scoring: 11 or 15 Points. No Deuce.
3) Medal matches (Gold/Silver/Bronze): 11 Points. No Deuce. Best of 3.
Team Challenge
Rules:
1) Minimum 4 men and 3 women.
2) Each player is limited to playing a maximum of two games per match.
3) Max 10 players per team.
4) Team Challenge for 19+ and 35+ category will start 8am at the same time. Player can only sign up to one team.
Game Format:
1) Round Robin follow by Single Elimination.
2) Conventional Scoring. No Deuce.
3) Total 9 points per match. 5 points to win a match.

Each attendee will receive an IPTPA Handbook, which forms the basis of the course content.

Successful completion of the workshop where the participant demonstrated minimum ball feeding skills and showed an understanding of how to use the IDEAS methodology along with passing the written exam leads to Level I Certification.

AFP Referee Workshop
Course fee: USD 20
Objective: This course provides a comprehensive framework for training individuals to become competent pickleball referees, emphasizing not only the understanding of rules and mechanics but also the importance of fair play, sportsmanship, and continuous improvement.
This course will also provide an understanding of how to oversee the progression of the tournament, as well as the roles and responsibilities of referees in maintaining its smooth operation, including managing the flow of individual games.
There will be a pre-reading and online test for you to attempt. You should also be familiar with the rule book. We will conduct practicing officiating skills through mock matches and simulations.
Upon completion, every participant will be issued a certificate of attendance by the Asia Federation of Pickleball (AFP).
